A Greek research institute has developed software for the performance prediction and analysis of bistatic sonar systems operating under noise and reverberation-limited conditions. The prototype has been developed taking into account range-dependent hydroacoustic and geoacoustic characteristics, as well as operational characteristics, including orientation and directivity patterns. The group is looking for partners in defence industry and research for license agreement and technical cooperation.
