A UK research centre has developed a new simulation device to improve the effectiveness of wound absorbent dressings. This patented device is comprised of a plurality of pores to accurately simulate the wound bed surface. Use of the device will allow better testing of absorbent dressings in order to improve their performance. Commercial partners operating in wound care market are sought.
