A Spanish public research organisation has developed a method to determine the response of fruit trees to salt stress that reduces the selecting time and could be done in the nursery before transplanting. The trees are selected to be planted in areas with moderate salinity. The method unifies a simplified experimental model with a quick response. Companies from the nursery sector are sought for license/cooperation agreements.
