A Spanish research centre has developed a goniometer, which is a compact system to determine the contact angles and diameters of hanging drops, based on artificial vision technology. Main features are automatic measurement of liquids surface tension, determination of surface treatment effectiveness, detection of the surface cleanliness grade of metallic surfaces, and evaluation of the surface roughness/heterogeneity grade. The centre is interested in different types of co-operation.
