A Spanish public university has developed a method that allows the measurement of time with high resolution, as well as the calibration of a system for measurement of time that associates a temporary label to an asynchronous event. The method is applied in the detection of pairs of coincident photons in tomography by positron emission. The research team looks for the licensing of the Spanish applied patent.
