An Italian research centre focused on the use of magnetic resonance spectroscopy, both NMR and MRI, uses these techniques to obtain high resolution images of any section or volume of porous materials. Using water contrast agent liquid, MRI technique allowed to produce detailed images of many stony materials that can be used to investigate the different consolidation procedures in a fully non-invasive way. The institute is looking for technical co-operation and financial resources.
