Mucus provides an essential barrier to the delivery of drugs based on bio-macromolecules making it nescesary to deliver them by injection. This technology is able to modify the physical properties of soluble mucus and can aid the passage of some components across the mucus layer. The Danish SME working with a Norwegian University on the invention are looking for cooperation with biotech, pharmaceuticals or research organisations for joint development and testing.
