Abstract
A scientist from Vienna has developed a new directional coupler that achieves an extremely high decoupling of the transmit-receive signals (better than 52 dB even in time-variant environments) directly at the antenna of readers for UHF RFID systems. Advantages are the higher reliability of the data transmission and an extended read-range even when using simple RFID-frontends.

The scientist is looking for partners, integrating this technology into their product portfolio.
