A Catalan Technological Centre (Spain) has developed a model that offers the design of the appropriate scientific strategy to generate and integrate the data obtained from different biological models and from human nutritional intervention studies to obtain the level of scientific evidence that proves the biological efficacy of the functional food. All these data are required by EFSA to let companies sell their functional foods under new regulations. They are looking for a technical cooperation.
