A Hungarian SME developed a foetal pulse oximeter to reduce the number of deliveries assisted by Caesarean section. Due to its small size, the device can be placed on the foetal head through the vagina and it is able to measure foetal body temperature and heart rate as well. The technology is suitable for hospitals, clinics and healthcare centres. Industrial or service partners are awaited to develop a market-ready device, introduce it to the Home Care segment, and to initiate serial production.
