An Israeli University Lab has developed a novel technique able to determine the harvest date of an olive grove which will yield an optimal quantity and quality of olive oil. The technique is based upon image processing and Low Resolution Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) technologies and has been laboratory validated. The technique is more accurate and faster than present subjective manual methods and may lead to yields of up to 25% higher than normal. Partners are sought for Joint Ventures.
