A Dutch SME, spin-off of a defence research organisation, has developed a radar processing unit that extracts hydrographic, oceanographic and environmental information from images that are generated by conventional radar systems. With advanced image processing techniques and algorithms sea surface features are translated in information about oil spill, floating small objects and hydrographics like wave height, water depth and tidal stream. The company is looking for partners and distributors.
