A German company developed a pyrolysis technology, a thermal decomposition process excluding oxygen. Macromolecular chains are shortened into shorter, saturated and unsaturated fragments in that process.

At temperatures of 600 to 900 degree Celsius pyrolysis oils, gases and solid residues develop. The company is looking for a partner to jointly make the technology ready for the market.
