A French laboratory has developed a simpler, cheaper and less harmful process using reactive chemical vapour for deposing metallic or ceramic coating on a surface. This allows surface treatments at low temperatures and atmospheric pressure. Chemical product converted in gas is spread over the part to be coated in a uniform way (production of mono or nanostructured multi layer coating, allowing the customisation of a surface). Industrialists are sought for technical collab and license agreement.
