A Basque SME (Spain) has developed an advanced system to record, manage and communicate data detected by sensors. The data can be stored and transmitted via GSM/SMS/GPRS network to a PC server or a mobile phone. Advantages are: several I/O and hardware options and battery powered. Moreover, depending on the sensor the device can have multiple applications. The SME is looking technology partners with the aim of developing new applications.
