A Slovakian company has developed an inorganic composite sorbent for immobilisation of heavy metals in contaminated soil/sludge/sediment and/or for removal heavy metals and/or phosphates from contaminated water. The sorbent is produced from clear natural materials & has quite high efficiency, which has been verified by many tests in various European countries. The company was granted the Slovak Patent No. 283214 and the European Patent No. 1098851 B1. They seek partners for further cooperation.
