A Spanish research centre from the construction sector has developed an innovative procedure by which ceramic wastes are recycled and utilised as an additive in Portland cement, which can be used in mortars, concrete and precast. The main advantage of using these wastes, on top of the cost reduction of the mortars, is the improvement of the mechanical properties. The centre is looking for partners to establish a licensing agreement, but it is also open to other types of cooperation.
