A small UK company has developed a mouldable, electrically conductive polymer and polymer composite material. The conductive polymer is formed at room temperature and is suitable for use in the manufacture of low-cost carbon electrodes for electrochemical water treatment applications. Other potential uses are in the manufacture of fuel cell components, mouldable antistatic products and electromagnetic shielding. The company is looking for industrial partners interested in further development.
