A Polish R+D institute has developed the system that makes postoperative care of cochlear implant recipients possible without need of patients presence in the clinic. An experienced specialist using teleconference and remote desktop applications is able to perform necessary psychophysical and objective measurements and to program speech processor of the patient. The system allows for large time and cost savings. Partners for further development and information exchange are expected.
