An Italian research Institute has developed a method to improve the quality of feed and food conservation. It is based on utilization of novel food grade compounds or GRAS microorganisms (yeasts) for the prevention of fungal contamination and of the biosynthesis of some toxic metabolites (mycotoxins) on some food matrices (grains, fruits). during the storage period. The Insitute is looking for technical cooperation, manufacturing agreement and financial resources.
