A Spanish public research organisation has developed and patented a technology for the synthesis of compounds with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity for their use, either in pharmaceutical compositions or for the development of functional foods and nutraceuticals, as well as antioxidants for foods.The new compounds have a wide spectrum of anti-inflammatory capacity, with easy and inexpensive synthesis.Pharmaceutical and food companies are sought for license/ cooperation agreements.
