A Turkish company has developed a hand-held, self-orienting 3D laser scanner that eliminates the need for fixed-position tripods, bulky mechanical arms or external positioning. It also makes easier to reach surfaces nearly impossible to scan. Company is looking for licensing agreements and financial resources.
