A research unit of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences has developed a technology and installation for production of steam injected gas turbines with contact economizer system intended for public heating purposes. The technology allows a significant increase in energy efficiency and co-generation production of electrical and heat energy. The institute seeks cooperation with gas turbine manufacturers for Joint Venture production and marketing for the turbines developed.
