Italian researchers have developed a new series of polymeric self-assembling systems (polymeric micelles) based on biocompatible poly amino acids suitable for biomedical and cosmetic applications. Advantages: greater biocompatibility, chemical versatility and functionality, high kinetic stability, stabilisation of unstable molecules, water solubilisation of insoluble molecules, address high amounts of molecules into specific sites. Industries are sought for scaling-up and marketing.
