A German SME has experience in the restoration of wooden steps. Now they are looking for a solution to increase the strength of deficient wooden material with a span length of more than one metre, in flexure and/or shear, to avoid the breaking of the thin natural stone plates attached to the top of the wooden material. They are looking for technical cooperation with partners with experience in combining different materials for civil engineering applications.
