Abstract
Israeli researchers have developed novel peptide nanotube technology that is based on the bottom-up self-assembly of aromatic dipeptides to form hollow nanotubular structures. The use of the tubes for the casting of metal wires and coaxial cables and their integration into biosensors has already been demonstrated. The researchers are now looking for a way to extend their use into the fluidics and the electromechanical world. Industrial partners sought for joint development of novel applicatio
